Mister I hesitates for a moment. Technically, no, there wasn't anything wrong with a half-dressed Byrd in the sports complex -- the implied interaction between Byrd and Bia on the other hand was a bit more of a concern, given that that directly flouted the school's code of conduct, but then again given that it was outside term time... And what with what Bia was suggesting about the cigarettes, was it really worth the fight?
Mister I's long finger clicks his pen again and puts it and his notebook back inside his pocket, "No, no problem, I was just... checking... that my notebook had not also been drenched in the rain..."

Having won the confrontation before it could even begin, Bia's arrogance changes abruptly to disdain. A couple of beats later, she composes her best helpful student look, and layers her voice thick with obviously faked warmth.
"Wonderful. I'm so glad we're on the same page. Is there anything we can help you with, or may we be on our way?"

Drops of water still drip from Mister I's hair, and the residual water having dripped off him has pooled into a small puddle around his feet. "I think I will stay inside for now... just until the rain... goes away. You can be on your ways."

"Thank you, sir"
And without further ado Max steps past Mister I, Bia still on his arm, and walks quickly out of the sports complex marvelling at the return of the sun, round beside the track, and behind the school to the external staircase to the roof.
