{Span off from this post}The music room was peaceful, the summer sun streaming in the windows and painting the floor with its golden hues. Dust floated, sparking and shattering the rays as they danced in the invisible air streams. The music room was ghostly silent. The slam of the door opening broke all that. Eva was hardly aware of her surroundings heading over to the piano then storming away from it again. Instruments were Daniel's thing... Pianos Mia's. Eva felt her head grow heavy with memories - friendlier times. She's not sure when it all went wrong - when her and Daniel started this game of on again off again, when Mia decided that the hallway incident even needed to happen.... well okay she did know that one, but still. She sighed and stopped in the centre of the room, her eyes caught by movement by the door. "Hello?"

Ellie cautiously poked her head through the doorway, not entirely sure of herself, but figuring that her blue hair had somewhat given her away, she spoke up.
"Um, Eva? Are you okay?"

Eva's face twitched, confusion mixed with annoyance flicking her eyebrows between furrowed and arched. Had Ellie been there the whole time?! Eva's eyes widened as the fact dawned on her.
"Ellie.... Please tell me you didn't watch that... train wreck?" Eva looked at her feet, the toes of her ankle breaking boots suddenly seeming so shiny.

"I mean, I was taught not to lie, but if it makes you feel better I can say I didn't?" Ellie smiled, cautiously, stepping into the room, "I've never understood dating and boyfriends and that, though, so I couldn't really tell if it was a trainwreck or not, but... yeah, ok, I guess it was a bit. Sorry. Is it something you want to talk about, or...?"
She wasn't quite sure what the or could be, but she figured she'd come up with something. Probably.

Eva smiled sadly, realising that she had seen Ellie as she had left the hallway just her emotions had clouded her servers - or something like that.
"It's.....complicated." The words from earlier in the lunch room seemed even more heavy now and echoed in the quite space between the two girls. Eva ran her fingers through her hair and half sat, half lent on a table. "Danny is.... I am...... We used to be..... I don't even know." She gave a sad chuckle and shook her head. "But it doesn't matter now. He thinks I'm too clingy so I wont be clingy at all. Then we'll see who the clingy one is..." Her voice trailed off, the words seeming to be more for her own benefit then Ellie's.
Her head snapped up and she pinned Ellie with her piercing gaze. "You must think me terribly rude, Ellie, running off like that. We were in the middle of a conversation at lunch, something about knowing everyone names but not actually knowing anyone?" Eva's lips pulled into something of a teasing smirk.

It was Ellie's turn to look down at her feet, "Yes, I, um, sort of memorised the class lists. I figured it would be helpful but I think it comes off somewhat creepy now I think about it."
Then, panicking, she looked up, "You don't think I'm creepy do you? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!"

Eva gave a small laugh, her smile now as soft and genuine as it had been in the lunch room an hour ago.
"I think its sweet." Her head tilted to the side. "You just did it so it would be easier to talk to us, right? It's not like you know which clubs we're involved with or what our class schedules are, right?"

"No," Ellie lied, "just your names. Though I'm beginning to get an idea of personalities of some already."
She came and sat down on a stool in the room, putting her heavy bag of books down on the ground, and looking out the window briefly before back at Eva, "So, the music room, huh?"

Eva scanned over Ellie's face, the smile flickering to a smirk for a second before she let the comments go. Instead she turned attention to the music room in question.
"Yeah. I tend to come here when I need time to really think. It's that or the drama studio but I don't really feel up to Mr Q's cryptic chatter about the three paths of drama." She winked before pushing off of the table and heading over to Ellie's side. "What books are you reading?"

"Oh, er, just Calculus, bit of programming, bit of Shakespeare, and," she went a little red, "the new Moonlight." She wasn't sure why she was reading such trash as Moonlight, but she figured it better to be honest about it. The only reason she'd picked it up was because the Internet said it was what everyone her age was reading, but she didn't really understand what all the fuss was about (pleasedontkillme teampad4eva) |

"Nerd." Eva teased. that was until she heard moonlight.
"Mia's a fan of Moonlight. Mia Mulholland." She tried to act nonchalant about it, but there was something in her voice, something amused and maybe just a little spiteful. "You should totally talk to her about next time you get the chance."

Ellie somewhat ignored the nerd comment, but the tone of the remarks about Moonlight got her quickly adding, "No no, I don't think it's very good to be honest. I thought it was meant to be representative of normal life or something, but, well, it doesn't seem to be particularly accurate. Or well written. Or interesting."
Deciding to move on from Moonlight in case Eva was a closet fan, but rather hoping she wasn't, she asked, "So do you read much?"

Eva pouted, looking put out. "Aw, oh well. She's a closet fan anyway. Steadfastly denies any dealings with them, but I know she likes them really."
"I've read everything in the school Library." She commented with a shrug as if it was no big deal. "Wanted to find out more about human nature, it helped somewhat though it first it was complicated because I didn't know the difference between fiction and non-fiction..."

Eva smiled at the soft sound of Ellie's laugh. It was was a nice change from Daniel's rough cackles.
"Most of the historic stuff I just deleted - wasn't all that interesting to me, but it helped me get a handle on 'emotions'," she raised her hands in silent quotation marks, "and 'personality'. I understand human's far better then I did upon start up." She looked at Ellie, eyebrow raised. "I think I may even understand them a little better then you do... you're not great at the whole, interaction thing, are you?"
